So I decided to offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee on all pen purchases. I began selling fine writing instruments 25 years ago. Since then, I learned just how personal a pen can be.You can get a good idea how a pen looks from a picture but not much else.

You must be 100% satisfied with your purchase from Bertram's Inkwell or you may return it within 30 days for a full refund, credit, or exchange. I'll even pay you for your original and return shipping charges (we cannot accept the return of engraved, custom ordered, or damaged items. Returns must be accompanied by a sales receipt).

A lifetime guarantee for the original owner on all our pens If you read the article on pen warranties in Pen World magazine (April 2010, page 47), you'll see that some companies offer a lifetime guarantee -- as they should. But others, including well-known manufacturers of expensive pens, offer a guarantee for only a year or to. So I decided to offer a lifetime guarantee on all pens purchased at the manufacturer's suggest retail price.

The guarantee fine print-- it's all here and very simple If you purchase a pen from Bertram's inkwell at the suggested retail price, and the manufacturer does not offer a lifetime guarantee, you're covered for life by Bertram's Inkwell. If your pen has a problem, and you are the original owner, we will fix it, or if necessary, replace the pen, provided it is still in production. If it isn't, we'll fix it as best we can. All you'll pay is a nominal fee to ship the pen to and from the manufacturer.
